We used to be friends

This week I've become unhealthily addicted to the song "We Used to be Friends" by the Dandy Warhols. I think it's because I've been watching a lot of Veronica Mars, a very very cool show where the song is used to great effect in the opening titles. Except that when you listen to it on its own, away from the supreme coolness that is Veronica Mars... well, you realise that it is fact a pretty crap little ditty. The lyrics are stupid and repetitive, and generally make no sense whatsoever. And the opening of it makes me think of that song "The Itch" by Vitamin C, which is never a good association to have.

So yeah, this post is pretty pointless. I guess the roundabout moral of this story is watch Veronica Mars but don't be sucked in by the addictiveness of Dandy Warhols songs. Yeah, that's the point of all of this...
