Greatest novels

I have read a grand total of eight of the books on Time's list of the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present. I think that's kinda crap - maybe there'd be more if it included books in languages other than English, because then I'm sure there'd be a few more from my world lit days. And I'm sure I'd kick all of your arses if it was the best English-language mystery novels...

I have also read eight of the books, and have started about five others.

I'm glad Tropic of Cancer was on there.
I like this from the review
"This is not a book, in the ordinary sense of the word. No, this is a prolonged insult, a gob of spit in the face of Art, a kick in the pants to God, Man, Destiny, Time, Love, Beauty..." Henry Miller
