According to this article, there's very little that you can legally do with an ipod in Australia. Apparently it's illegal here to even make a copy of a CD that you've bought with your hard-earned money, even if it's only for personal use.
This is a load of crap. Even the US allows you to make a back-up copy or whatever of your own CDs, and the United States aren't exactly reknowned for their liberal copyright laws.
