I find the National Library of Australia's catalogue immensely annoying and counter-intuitive to use. Is this just me being stupid after being spoiled by the wonder of the ANU library's wonderful user interface? Or do other people find the NLA's text too large, the display too hard to configure, and the search page ridiculously limited?
Or... am I just being an uber nerd of the highest quality, comparing the interfaces of library catalogues I have known?

No, you are completely right. When I was working on the AUSFTA assignment and was solely relient on its resources, I spent excess time just trying to navigate...yes that is right...navigate the damn website. I am just amazed that the people who work there have degrees and often study website design. I think there is no excuse for a poorly designed website...least of the the National Library of Australia
You've never used the ANU library, Nat? Damn you science students!
