I always thought that this was a particularly strange phrase to write on a brick wall, particularly under an enormous 'local liquor' sign...

Reading this post - I can't believe I am saying this - made me feel sad. I always wonder when I see these kind of things what the person was thinking and why they would feel the need to act out.

I actually feel quite happy whenever I walk past it, actually Matt. Sure, it implies that we're in the midst of 'bad days' right now... but as it says, they will end! I personally feel like the person who did it, whoever they are, was trying to reassure us, rather than declare how bad their own life was. Or maybe I just think that to prevent being depressed about the whole thing! (damn you for making me think too much about it, Matt!)

As for happy childhoods, Bron: yeah, that one's depressing. And you're right, completely wrong.
