Movie soundtrack for my life

Meme! The rules:

1. Put your music player of choice on shuffle
2. Scene one = first song played, scene two = second, so on.
3. No cheating/skipping

Opening Credits: Tiny Dancer - Elton John
Waking Up: Twilight time - The Platters (hmmm... I seem to wake up at strange times in the movie of my life!)
An Ordinary Day: Never on a Sunday - Doris Day
The First Date: Everything is everything - Lauryn Hill
Falling in Love: Wild world - Cat Stevens
The Rumble: Rescue me - Martha Reeves and The Vandellas
The Break-up: Return to Oz - The Scissor Sisters
Getting Back Together: Turn off the light - Nelly Furtado
Life's Okay: Some Devil - Dave Matthews (not exactly the happiest song in the world...)
The Mental Breakdown: I'll never know - Goldenhorse
Cruising: Comfortable - John Mayer
The Flashback: Break it down (James Brown) - The Offcutts (aside: really really cool song!)
The Frat Party: Two of us - Neil and Tim Finn
Everybody Dance Now: What a difference a day made - Jamie Cullum (not exactly a song to dance to...)
Regretting: Baby it's cold outside - Ella Fitzgerald
The Long Night Alone: New Slang - The Shins
A Death: Crying - k.d. lang
End Credits: Rocking the suburbs - Ben Folds

Hmmm... I'm not sure that the soundtrack to my life is really all that successful. Random, yes. But not exactly matched to the situation!

well, purely because I'm enjoying doing meme's so much, and because i'm too lazy to make a post on my own blog, here's mine:

Opening Credits: The Projects - Oceans 11 soundtrack
Waking Up: Watch the Sunrise (Vocal Dub) - Axwell Feat. Steve Edwards
An Ordinary Day: Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz
The First Date: Bodyrock - Moby
Falling in Love: Hotel California - The Eagles (Hell freezes over tour... good track, shame it's about drugs given the context of the answer ><)
The Rumble: Condition Chronic - Tadpole
The Break-up: Every Day There's Something - The Relaxomatic Project
Getting Back Together: How Sweet it is - Michael Buble (heehee, appropriate?)
Life's Okay: Kody - Matchbox 20
The Mental Breakdown: Tear Drop - Massive Attack
Cruising: I Like Birds - The Eels
The Flashback: Annie are you OK - Michael Jackson (OK, now that's just a scarily accurate one!)
The Frat Party: Wake Up - Rage Against the Machine
Everybody Dance Now: Mein Herr und Gott - Handel (from Lohengrin, also not appropriate)
Regretting: The Rolling People - The Verve
The Long Night Alone: The Nutcracker - The Dance of the Reed Flutes, Act 2 - Tchaikovsky
A Death: Carmen Suite No. 2 La Garde - Bizet (actually, this fits quite well, like an honour guard)
End Credits: I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better - Tom Petty

All in all they came out pretty good, and at times a little freaky!

yay for pseudo hijacks :-)
