Big Pictures
There's a great article in the New Yorker by David Denby about the future of movies, and how different ways of showing films - whether it be on an enormous cinema screen, an ipod, or a tv - affects the way that we experience them. I found the observations about the differences between movies that have been shot in digital and those shot on film really interesting, particularly the ways in which making digital prints of old movies has really come a long way.
