Flickr's been bought

It's finally been confirmed that Flickr has been bought by Yahoo. My favourite part of the announcement:

Are you going to become Yahoo Photos? [No]... Flickr would suffer from a sudden deluge of LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg! so we're going to grow it carefully.

I like Flickr a lot, but never really got into it because it costs me waaaay too much to look at all the pretty photos at uni. But when I'm home, bring on the flickr! Or something...
