I haven't tried it out yet, but the new service mozy looks pretty cool: 2GB (!) free online backup storage. I am chronically crap at backing up my data. My current excuse is that the CD burner in my (craptastic) laptop isn't working, but really it's just that it all seems like too much work. Basically, I'm lazy. But this thing looks like it's easy enough even for me to do regularly...
On a slightly related note: remember when 2GB was absolutely fucking enormous? When you could have backed up 3 of your hard-drives to a 2GB storage space, and not just your important files? We are such memory whores these days - too much is never enough...
