Autumn day at ANU
ANU
This photo is slightly deceptive in that it looks like a nice day... it really wasn't - in the snatches of sunshine we had this afternoon I quickly whipped out the trusty digital camera and got a few pictures, but this was the only one that turned out to be half-way decent.
Despite the weather, it's been a good day, mostly because I got out of college and went shopping, which is always good. For a religion-hating heathen like me, Good Friday is officially the most boring day of the year, so today I was desperate to do something, anything!, a little more exciting than taking notes from the most boring textbook in the world (seriously - it physically pains me when I sit down and start to read). I wasn't particularly successful in my expedition - shoes, like usual, elude me - but I did manage to get a new black cardigan and a funky stripy jumper, which is always exciting. I also have a new haircut, which is quite short and a little strange, but I like it. I think. We'll see how it turns out tomorrow after I wash my hair...
And now I'll end this particularly boring post. Good work to anyone who made it this far!

awwwwww beautiful pic! that's my favourite part of the entire campus too... except for my lab (yeah, right!). Making me homesick! Be back sometime tomorrow night though, yay! winter clothing in tow...
haircuts always look best about a week later anyway, so I'm prepared to be mortified on returning (and what will you do tomorrow, with the shops all shut again?!)
hmmm gotta get around to visiting ANU one day .. actually doesnt look half bad :P
I'm one crazy shopper, Bron. CRAAAAZZEEEEEEE.
